Marvelous Mud Pottery Studio is excited to announce several updates for 2025, including a membership rate adjustment, enhanced open studio options, and a comprehensive calendar of special events. These changes reflect our commitment to providing exceptional pottery education and fostering a vibrant creative community. We invite you to explore the new offerings and continue your artistic journey with us in the coming year.
Rate Increase
Monthly membership rate will rise from $200 to $220 starting January 2025.
Membership includes four weekly instructional classes (3 hours each) and one open studio session (3 hours).
Open studio hourly rate increases from $8 to $10, making a 3-hour session $30.
Subscription Benefits
Monthly subscription option available at $75 for three additional open studio sessions, offering a 20% discount.
With this, you get six sessions or two months free each year.
Purple Ticket Options
Purple Ticket ($650): Prepay for three additional open studio sessions per month throughout 2025, saving you the cost of five months.
Purple Ticket Pro ($750): Includes three monthly sessions plus seven floating sessions, totaling 43 open studios per year—equivalent to six months free.

Includes major workshops and events like Sculpture Workshops, International Owl Day (August 2025), and Color Clay courses.
Calendar identifies "fifth-week" breaks for studio closures so you can plan vacations.

Upon retirement I was looking forward to renewing my interest in art classes, especially hand-building in clay, which I loved in college and never had time for during my career. I had no idea how lucky I’d be to find Rachelle’s pottery workshops. She is the best instructor I’ve ever worked with. She’s inspiring, talented, knowledgeable and fun. I look forward to each class and the projects we make or the excellent advice she gives me when I fall down a rabbit hole and strike out on one of my own wonky projects. I can’t say enough good things about Rachelle Eason and her pottery classes. I would not have ever considered myself as an artsy person. But I have been a student of Rachelle’s for many years now. About Rachelle Eason
Rachelle Eason has been an artist all her life. She is the owner of Marvelous Mud Pottery Studio in Lakeland, FL where she focuses on teaching adults in a progressive learning adventure in clay. She also produces own line of fabulously functional pottery.
Rachelle Eason is also the creator of Plant-Stained Paper... artistically designed with fresh flowers and leaves then boiled together for one-of-a kind designs.
