Originally, I planned to take one session of classes, learn a few techniques, and make some functional pieces of art. I’m now a few months into this journey, and I’ve come to realize I’m (unabashedly) addicted to clay. With Rachelle as my clay guru, a new world has opened up to me. A world where mud is my mental therapy that helps me leave life’s stresses at the studio door. The added benefit – sharing this experience with people who have the same passion for mud manipulation, and who have become my biggest supporters and friends during this artistic exploration. Thank you, Rachelle, for creating this wonderfully satisfying and supportive environment, where the clay community – newcomers and experts – can come together to share in their creative adventures.

Having played sports most of my life I never thought I would be able to do anything creative. My sister was always the talented artist in the family. She knew after my son grew up that I needed a hobby. She suggested clay. I was apprehensive, but she assured me that Rachelle was amazing and she would help me. Also, extra time with my sister, I figured why not give it a shot. I’m so thankful I did. I jumped right into class and was blown away. Rachelle continues to help me bring out creativity I never knew I had. I have also made some lifelong friends. I am truly grateful for this experience and my life is enriched because of it.

Sometimes we do something that seems small, but it changes our lives forever. Clay class is one of those things for me. I signed up because I had always wanted to try it. Third grade we made pinch pots. My next time touching clay was in my late 40s. I am forever changed for the better. The clay keeps me grounded and Rachelle keeps me soaring with inspiration! Rachelle’s classes are educational, inspirational, and so much fun!! I am also forever changed by the friends I have made! I love so thankful my mud time!

I’m looking forward to the new studio! Rachelle is such a joyful soul, so helpful and inspiring! I love that there is no mistakes and you go at your own pace!
