4 Week Handbuilding Courses

These fabulous 4 Week Courses are beginner AND intermediate friendly. They are designed for you to refresh your learning or for you to begin with the foundational techniques of working with clay such as pinching, slab building, and coiling. Then you will rev up your creativity by learning about surface decoration and some great glazing techniques.

Each project allows you to express your own unique creativity and individual style. Whether you are a beginner or have already experienced the joy of clay, we would love to have you join us here at Marvelous Mud!

Please note: These courses are being offered along side our Marvelous Membership Students. You will get an inside peak at what is included in our Membership, get a feel for our studio and potentially be offered an invitation to membership as well.

2025 Fall Themes are...

Gorgeous Gardens

Tuesdays September 2-23; 6-9PM 

Create a textured planter, a hanging planter, and garden stakes all in your own personal style. Add your own unique flair as you design your gorgeous garden beauties!

Holiday Miniatures

Tuesdays October 7-28; 6-9PM

Create a Flower Frog vase with interchangeable mini sculpts in holiday or general themes. Plus create a serving bowl with a mini village neighborhood of holiday houses!

Course Info

    Classes focuses on developing hand-building techniques through guided instruction to complete specific projects.

Projects vary. Students are encouraged to follow their own intuitive take on each project.

4-Week Course includes...

• 4 Weekly Instructional classes per month 3 Hours Each
• Clay and use of designated studio glazes. 
  
• Students need to purchase their own basic set of tools.

*Minimum of 4 students per class. No make-ups for missed classes.

This course does fulfill the prerequisite for receiving an invitation to Marvelous Mud Pottery Studio Monthly Membership that includes options for wheel throwing and handbuilding. 

**** Production of pieces for retail or wholesale selling is not permitted at Marvelous Mud Pottery Studio except for owner Rachelle Eason.

Must be 18 Years or Older. No Walk-Ins. Only registered students are permitted in the studio.
Class Registrations are final and are non-transferable.
